Why You Want This Manga: Yes, it's your typical gender-bender shoujo manga... Boy (or girl) disguises himself (or herself!) as a member of the opposite sex, generally to get into an all-boys (or all-girls) school to achieve some goal. But this one is just so damn cute, and unlike most gender-bender mangas, the leading girl finds out pretty quickly that "she" is really a "he." And he knows she knows! Hikaru works with Izumi to keep his secret and keep the rest of the school, who worship Izumi, from finding out Izumi's real identity. And Izumi is still strong, tough, and masculine when he needs to be, which allows for just enough romance between the two. Definitely a must-read, especially if it's your first gender-bender!
