About Me

So you're curious about me, huh? Well, I'm kind of boring, but I'll try to make myself sound interesting since you're on this page!

I'm married to a wonderfully loving and supportive husband, a ridiculously-devoted "Daddy's Girl," prone to hysteric giggling, and completely loyal to Coke, Red Bull, and 5-hour Energy. I play entirely too much WoW (World of Warcraft), and am known to stay up until an hour before I have to go to work watching anime, J-dramas, and reading manga. I love board games and would much rather be at home with my friends playing a game than going out.

I'm also slightly neurotic about spreadsheets. Excel may or may not be my best friend.

I'm obsessive about TV shows, like Vampire Diaries, Supernatural, True Blood, Castle, House, and cartoons like South Park, Simpsons, and Family Guy. I get super fangirly about a lot of things, like when people compliment my writing or when someone seems crazy friendly and cute.

I'm also a YA author who writes across all sorts of YA genres, because my interests are pretty much everywhere. I've been writing since before I could write, back when I used to tell stories into a tape recorder. I think I wrote my first story when I was around kindergarten, and it was a paragraph long and about a boy and a girl who went rollerskating on a date and held hands.

And because I'm always curious about what the person I'm talking to looks like, here are some pictures of me. (I hate pictures of me...)

My husband and me being super-dorks at Captain EO in Disneyland. (I love Captain EO. And Disneyland. Have I mentioned that yet?)

My husband and me at our best friend's wedding in 2010.
(Seriously--our best friends. He and the groom have been friends for nearly ten years. The bride and I have been friends for almost five. I was out with her, they were out together, and we all met at the same time at the Penny Arcade Expo--a giant gamer convention--in Seattle. It was a really cute love story!)

OH yeah! Tink visited us in Disneyland.

Wedding photo! Back in 2008, when my hair was its natural color and crazy long.

Now that I've practically filled out a dating profile--ready to go catch a drink together? ;)
