My Best Friends Are Married!

Warning: Picture-intensive post!!

Two weekends ago my husband and I were in Palm Springs to watch the man who has been my best friend since kindergarten get married to a wonderful woman who couldn't be more perfect for him. I was lucky enough to be part of their wedding party, and it was a beautiful, classic, amazing wedding.

Then just yesterday, another of my best friends got married, and I was given the honor of being her Matron of Honor! And my husband, who has been best friends with the groom for nearly ten years, was one of his groomsmen! (She and I met them at a geek convention almost three years ago, and now we're married! Can you believe it?!) They were married on the water, in a lovely, fun, precious moment that I was blessed enough to get to share with them.

They were such perfect moments that I'd like to share them with all of you. (Special! I'm also including one of my wedding pictures!)

My best friend since kindergarten. I'm second in from the left in the back. He's the groom. ;-)

Walking down the aisle with my best friend's younger brother. (I remember when he was born! I was ten!)

My husband and I at our best friend's wedding.

Us again! Waiting for picture-time and the wedding to start!

Can you imagine a more perfect place to be married? Gorgeous, right?!

My husband and I almost two years ago, on our wedding day. We both look pretty different now!

Love is a beautiful thing, isn't it?

I hope you enjoyed seeing pictures from the weddings, and a couple from mine! <3 After all... It's all about love, isn't it?

The Quest of Dai: The Malo - First Review!

The Quest of Dai: The Malo has its first review!

From the publisher:

You have such a great writing style.  It is always easy to tell when an author spends time with their writing.  I have to say that it is obvious that you have done a significant amount planning and preparation in crafting your work.  You add details that really add to the credibility of your writing.  Right from the start your plot was very engaging.  You do a nice job of slowly making your way through the story with details and a certain voice that allows your reader to really interact with the characters (who are all round and very nicely developed.) So many authors rush through their stories without really developing them.  Not you. Your book read like a movie in my mind. You have crafted an excellent piece here.  You had me hooked by the end of the first chapter! I could not wait to find out what was going to happen to Diamond…
